FOUNDER /EDITOR-IN-CHIEF / COLUMNIST
I'm an obsessive playlist maker (more expert on the sad ones) professional at finding my way to the front line at concerts (thanks to my 1.58 height) and a compulsive crier to James Blake's music (Assume Form, quite weirdly.) I spent my formative years on Tumblr reblogging Arctic Monkeys lyrics and Robbers stills so that should give you an idea on the level of my individuality complex. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect platform boots and awfully over-priced band merch to go with it.
My name is Ana, a 24 year-old Portugese, who found out collage, photography and design was her passion.I always loved putting pieces together and trying to come up with new concepts and ideas. Inspired by many artists, I try to find my identity with glitter, stars and an enormous amount of pink.I started here, as a collage artist with "Saturday Style Icon" collages for Instagram and now I'm a full on art contributor. I hope you enjoy my art, as it is. Here is my portfolio
Zara is a wannabee fashion historian and freelance graphic designer who is constantly geeking out about 1830s fashion. When she's not dancing to the Mamma Mia soundtrack (seriously it's a problem) she's watching old Fran Lebowitz interviews and talking about her double Scorpio placement to everyone she meets! Her dream wardrobe consists of 90s Prada, Tom Ford era Gucci and tons of Simone Rocha, but she would possibly give it all away for a single costume from the 2020 film Emma.
Kathryn is a 22 year old college graduate. Originally from California, she moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in business marketing. During her college years, she spent most of her time as an on campus radio DJ. She enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to music, going to concerts, and trying to learn Italian.
20 something industrial design student from İstanbul, Turkey. Self taught illustrator, experimental baker, protector of stray cats, thumb war champion, live music enthusiast. Check out her work
Alissa is a Creative Industries student at Ryerson University, with a minor in philosophy. Her eclectic style jumps from goth to kindergarten chic daily, but big winged eyeliner always remains untouched. She can be found with her nose in a book, at a concert, or most recently, doing crafts.
MELODIE J. MYERS
My name is Melody, I’m currently 25 years old. I’m based in Los Angeles, CA, I love writing and I enjoy writing about up and coming bands, well known bands and anything in-between. I love interviewing bands, and finding out more about what makes them who they are (and about the creative process!) I also love taking photos, being able to capture my favorite bands/artists live, a photoshoot, or just my friends, being able to capture such precious moments mean so much to me.
I am a bilingual freelance writer born in Canada and based in New York.
Currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I do freelance writing for a number of fashion and culture publications while also undertaking other personal creative projects.
I enjoy classic films, french novels and churros.
My passions? Clothes, sandwiches, and films... In that order! Elodie would love to believe she is a former nerd rebranded as a fashionista. You can usually find her planning crazy schemes to move to Europe or passionately talking about restaurants. Fingers crossed, her skills as a child fanfiction author will somehow translate to fashion writing...
I’m an English Creative Writing major and Journalism minor at Loyola University Chicago. I enjoy writing about my local music scene in Chicago, interviewing bands, and attending shows (pre-Covid) regularly. I also love writing poetry and hope to release a collection of my poems soon. Lastly, I try to dedicate a lot of my time to social justice work and activism.
Kylie is a 22 year old recent college grad who is ready to put her Marketing + Comms degrees to work helping grow the lovely Tonitruale brand! She’s passionate about supporting indie artists and has a thing for the Aussie music scene (hello triple J and queen Courtney B). She interned at a small music venue at 18, served as Music Director for her college radio station, and knows every line to Almost Famous (it’s all happening!). She is also a slow-fashion advocate, vegan, and crybaby who loves a good craft beer and isn’t afraid to mosh.
İNCİ EMİNE SAHİN
İnci is a 20-year-old architecture student at Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Learning things, expressing herself, creating art, listening to music, arguing about movies are some ways that make her soul fulfilled. For a while creating drawings, visuals were some lost causes from her childhood and lately she wants to feel that magic again like she was 12 & drawing. She is either with friends laughing or alone in her room studying, reading.
Hi! I'm a 21-year-old acting and digital media student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I am also a photographer for Fashion Society Magazine and a social media assistant for Strike Magazine. I love thrifting, concerts, and shaping my personality off of the lastest film I watched.
Howdy! I’m currently a student at Loyola University Chicago pursuing a major in Digital Media and a minor in Psychology. I’ve been passionate about music since receiving my first CDs at age 4 (Now That’s What I Call Music 4 and Britney’s …Baby One More Time). The DIY scene in my hometown of Houston, Texas was my lifeline in high school and I’m currently a music director for my college’s radio station in Chicago. I also play bass and guitar! Needless to say, the passion has not died. I love to cook/bake in my free time and am always curating the perfect soundtrack to accompany the dishes I make.
